Jeremy Tipton & 2 of this friends, Jonathan Ponce & Bernando Meza were coming home from school when Jeremy saw a roadside find that caught his attention. He told his buddies, "Lets load that couch and play a joke on mom, we'll put it in the front yard when she gets home from work." Jeremy called his mom and tell her they had a surprise when she gets home. She said, "today isn't the day, I've had a bad day." So he tells her their plan, of course she tells em', "I don't care where you take it, but get it outta there."
They decided to take it to different locations around town, unloading it long enough to get a quick photo and off to the next location. That evening they uploaded the pics to their personal Facebook and received a huge response.
The following day after school they took more pics. Jeremy's mom (Dawn Tipton) decided to create a Facebook page for them so they'd have a place to add all the images for everyone to view. By the end of the day they had 250 followers. People young & old were following, expressing their love forTraveling Couch Adventures. Many have said they login to Facebook just to see where the Couch Crew had been for the day.
Advance Auto Parts thought we were dumping it out to leave. They didn't seem very happy with us.

Kayen: I skipped school for this?
Nardo: " Atleast I have 4G's, let me update our FB status."...updating status.."Having a great day in school"
Ponce: I wonder if some how we ran a wire from the tower to the battery and it happened to lightening, would it start the truck?
Jeremy: If I knew mom was in a good mood today I'd call her to come get us, but then I'd have to explain why we're not in school and Kayne got a ticket for indecent exposure. Yea forget it.... Ponce, that's a great idea. CLIMB THAT TOWER."
Filler Up, a buck ninety- five. Low Gas emmission, the new Green Movement.
Within 3 days Jeremy vehicle tore up, the couch crew was afraid they wouldn't be able to continue. That's when they recruited kayne Hughes. (He had a truck) Not only that, kayne's good friends with all the crew.
In Just the first 6 days they had close to 1200 fans. Their facebook page took off! People love the Traveling Couch Adventures! In just 6 days they were interviewed by Tabitha Mills from WJHL News Channel 11. The boys were so excited they had their own "Viewing Party" later that night at Jeremy's house. The tension grew with anticipations, the news ran late due to a sports event.

3 days after our news interview they were interviewed by Kelli from our local newspaper "The Erwin Record". She met them at the movie theater because they were invited & had access to the theater, "their own private viewing".
Couch Crew special Guest, Troy Boone
Keeli from the "Erwin Records" Interview
After their interview keeli wanted them to swing by the Erwin Record to get a photo. While we were there, an older lady stopped to ask if we were those boys, "oh, I seen you, you're the traveling couch kids". .Just as the sheriff pulled up, the older lady told him, "That's the Traveling Couch Adventures, you know who they are? they're on Facebook."
The Crew convinced him to allow em' to put their couch on top of his Police vehicle. (It wasn't to hard, he played along)
He even helped. LOL
Watch the lights boys.
Then that's when the fun began.....he played along to all kinds of scenes. Here, he's hauling them in for Grand Theft Couching..LOL
"uh guys, this isn't funny, he's really putting handcuffs on me."
"You're all going downtown, and your couch too." .....(is Dorthy & Toto in this scene somewhere..)
Jeremy: "This is actaully comfy"
The pic Keeli used in the article wrote for the Erwin record.
"Move to the right, move to the left....Bernardo, what ya doin?"
They're actually reading the articles..
Not sure what they were doing.
oh we can't forget going to Toby's Cafe before heading to the theater. The second day they started this whole adventure, Toby invited em' to eat at his restaruant. What teen boys aren't down for food, especially when it was FREE. While we were there a fan (Randy Hughes) had his pic taken with the boys. Gladly!...this man was so nice, he even gave the boys $20 for gas. How awesome.
